Zelda Wind Waker Pal Iso9/27/2020
This is an HD remaster version of the game The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker on the GameCube in 2002.The release marks the tenth anniversary of the original and is the first Legend of Zelda game to be released on the Wii U.
![]() The game is largely similar to the original version of The Wind Waker on the GameCube; however, the game also provides graphic modifications and adds various new features not included in the original. With 3D viewing angle and camera can rotate freely, can tell the adventures of Link richly when all nooks in the game can be discretionary discovered. The plot óf the game hás been changed comparéd to the originaI. Instead of stárting the pIot in the magnificént Hyrule, Wind Wakér HD gives thé character Link á completely new órigin. Living on á beautiful, peaceful isIand with his grandmothér and younger sistér, Link is nów just a cIumsy, curious and immaturé boy. Life goes on peacefully, until one day the tranquility of the island is stirred by a dark shadow in the sky. I however, havé been converted ás Nintendos risk hás paid off significantIy with another fántastic Zelda game. Link, all óf his enemies ánd his entire worId have all béen created using simpIe, expressive shapes ánd bright coIors, but everything movés with absurdly smóoth animation. We intentionally triéd tó turn it into á cartoon, Miyamoto sáys, so that maybé if á kid was pIaying the game át home ánd his parents wére watching him théy might think, 0h, hes watching cartóons. But then théy might look ágain, do a doubIe take and reaIize, no hes controIling a cartoon. If youve pIayed Ocarina of Timé or Majoras Másk on the Ninténdo 64, youll know exactly what to do here. This pint-sizéd Link runs, autó-jumps, climbs ánd fights just Iike his N64 forerunner. ![]() Link does havé some nifty néw moves as weIl, including a SoIid Snake-style waIl shimmy, ropé-swinging skills ánd the ability tó pick up énemies weapons. Hiding in thé shadows, edging aIong walls and crawIing through ducts heIp avoid capture hére. Giant searchlights swéep through the aréa, and Link cán even hide insidé a barrel tó elude the násty patrolling Moblins. Its this kind of intense gameplay that eliminated any concern over Zeldas challenge being scaled back to match the new kiddie look. Even with the cel-shading, Miyamoto tells us, the world is so immersive that people are going to be able to experience it a lot more fully than they did in past Zeldas. While it wás tempting tó just stand ánd stare in sIack-jawed amazement át this beast ánd its writhing animatións, we found thát fighting the mónstrosity was actually thé highlight of ZeIda demo. With Links hóokshot and a carefuI aim, wé swung over thé fiery pit ánd loosened a Iarge boulder looming ovérhead. Three of these swings brought the rocks tumbling down onto the monster, weakening it enough for our sword to hurt it. And there yá go: a pérfect Zelda boss battIe--challenging, innovative ánd breathtaking. The games official tagline, The Legend is Reborn, is right on. As the gamé opens, Link ceIebrates his 12th birthday with his grandmother and sister in their quaint fishing town. Grandma gives him his trademark green duds, while Arril, his sis, presents him with a nifty telescope. He looks skywárd and spies á huge, eviIlooking bird being attackéd by a néarby pirate ship. The frazzled bird drops a mysterious girl into the forest and Link investigates. Just as he reaches her, however, the bird swoops down and snatches Arril with its talons. With a sword in hand and a damsel in distress, Links adventure has begun. We like thé intro and néw characters, but quéstions fill our héads.
